 Our Story

Founded by educator and trombonist Gram Lee, Spark of Knowledge was created from a belief that music is one of the most powerful tools for lifelong learning. Gram’s experience as a performer and teacher—shaped by his studies at Yale University and the University of Michigan—inspired him to build a studio where students can grow not only as musicians but as thinkers, problem-solvers, and creative individuals.

At Spark of Knowledge, we see every lesson as an opportunity to spark curiosity, discipline, and self-expression. Through the study of music theory and brass instruments, students develop focus, patience, and confidence—skills that extend far beyond music and into everyday life.
